Yin yoga, watercolor, and art
I teach yin yoga in San Francisco and lead watercolor workshops for community events, artists, and retreats. My work, on paper and on the mat, is rooted in nature, movement, and the quiet magic of mundane moments.

What a yin class is like
Yin yoga is the gentle, passive counterpart to our active yang lives. A class is a series of long, supported floor stretches held for minutes at a time, which release the deep tension that desks, screens, and full lives leave behind, and it ends with a long rest.

The art
I work in watercolor, oil, mixed media, and interactive installation.
Art exhibitions
Mixed media, installation, and murals
Our small wonders was a public art installation in the Kranzberg Art & Architecture Library in St. Louis, MO. It invited members of the library to take a pause in the stairwell and write down the small wondering questions they would like to ask for a deeper connection in everyday life. They were designed to inspire more connected conversation, and to brighten up the day as they shimmer in the sunlight.
